Pictionary
Version:1.3.1
Published:2026-03-11
Introduction
Pictionary brings the classic drawing-and-guessing party game to mobile, making group play quick, social and simple to set up. The app gives one player a random word to illustrate while others guess, offers three difficulty levels and a customizable countdown so rounds stay brisk, and records scores in a clean, easy-to-read interface.
Key Features
In Pictionary a short animated welcome screen opens each session and a home page with a difficulty selector (Easy, Medium, Hard) and a Lets Begin button starts games instantly. Words are fetched at random from Firebase and can be advanced or reviewed with Previous and Next controls so prompts remain varied. A customizable digital timer supports minute and 10-second intervals, shows a clear countdown and displays a Time Up popup when the round ends. Built-in scoring and simple multiplayer turn management keep rounds organized while a centered, uncluttered UI makes prompts easy to read during play.
Advantages
Pictionary works well for players of different ages because of straightforward rules and flexible round lengths, making it suitable for casual gatherings and game nights. Cloud-backed word selection reduces repetition and keeps each round surprising, and the interface is focused on visibility and control so hosts can run sessions smoothly without complicated setup.
Disadvantages
Because word lists come from Firebase, an internet connection is required to fetch new prompts. The app does not include an integrated drawing canvas, so players should use a physical board or a separate drawing app. Planned features such as an interactive leaderboard are not currently available but may appear in future updates.
