Bunker X² drops players into a tense, character-driven survival sim where you run an underground bunker two decades after civilization collapsed. As the last man uninfected, you manage resources, power and day-to-day life while directing teams to the surface for salvage, building communal rooms and deepening relationships with the survivors through hangouts, gifts and voiced scenes. The game mixes base-building mechanics with slow-burn storytelling: characters evolve through distinct stages based on how you train and bond with them, and the alpha build already includes voice work, a soundtrack, a playable rec-room arcade and browser play for instant access.

Version Information

This early access alpha for Bunker X² begins Monday 17 August 2026 at 12:00 UTC, with a public release scheduled to follow in September. The alpha contains four of six survivors with full dialogue, hangouts, gifts, bios and a capped evolution stage, voice acting for intros and hangouts, original soundtrack, portrait gallery, a playable arcade in the rec room, auto-save and a field manual accessible with F1. Future builds plan additional evolution stages, two confirmed survivors, wider voice coverage, a new auto-battler and ongoing optimization including mobile support.
