I play nearly daily as a mental break from my work. For that purpose, it's a quick stress reliever. However: the more I play, the less random voting scores seem. It appears you only earn 5 stars if you utilize all the new accessories for that time. If the theme is red, buy all the red items/throw them in a single design/score 5. It almost seems you auto receive so many points for themed items. It's frustrating. A request: Shopping/Wish list? I'd love to keep track of items I want to buy/use!

Edit: The voting in this game is awful!!! I really love this game. I absolutely love interior design, and this game is a perfect outlet for it. I gave only three stars because it's far too difficult to earn money and diamonds. The voting is obviously not about how well the room is designed vs using matchy matchy colors and everything seasonal. It's irritating to look at the "top designs" and they look like a playhouse or something, and I don't even get 4 stars. I still play every day.

The game is fun and the graphics are great. However, you have to spend a ton of real money to make any significant progress in the game. Every challenge has requirements that cost a ton to fulfill each, and we only get $2500 in-game money per day, plus $500 in-game money per challenge after spending $20,000 in-game money on furniture and decor per challenge entry? It never balances out. It discourages me from being interested in playing any further because I can't meet any of the requirements.

Played a few years, mostly enjoy to play before bed. But now you can't play without often large updates leaving it unopenable with out all this space. And the updates not much changes. Crazy to me we still have to scroll thru 100s of things for an hour to find the few things we can actually afford and not just add by price search in all this updating or at the very least updating the way you only get high votes if you spend money. Fun to play and pass time, yup. Fair and rewarding, nope.

It's fun, lots of furniture, plenty of design challenges and extras. I wish it were easier to earn gems, it's discouraging when I want to complete a challenge but I can't afford the decor that would really work in the space. Logging in gets you 500 gems, but it's nothing when you consider how expensive some pieces are. I have fun with it and have spent money on it, but I wish I didn't have to in order to create good looking designs. I also hate that purchasing an item only gets you 5 uses :/

Fun and sometimes challenging if you care about decorating a room, but don't expect 5-star wins unless you match everything, place identical art on the wall, spend a bit of money, and ignore the style requirements of the room. The app also blocks the decorator's access to his/her entire inventory. Otherwise, it's a relaxing activity.
