I've had the system/app for 4 years now, and have been quite happy with most of the app's functionality, and of course I'm very pleased with the ability to control my entire music collection from my chair with any number of devices! One glitch that's just manifested however: I have a Samsung/ android phone, and sometime in the last couple of months I 'lost' the slider bar feature allowing me to quickly scroll through the artist list - hoping it's a bug with a quick fix from Bluesound.

The sound from Blusound speakers is good, and the forward/back and preset buttons on the speakers are an advantage over Sonos. The controller is weak. Some services, like Spotify, don't really reside inside the controller app. Now there seems to be an issue with Tidal, at least for T-Mobile users. And some key services are missing: Apple, Bandcamp, YouTube, etc. I'm stuck with two marginally useful speakers and regret that I didn't just do Sonos from the start.

The best I can say is that it works. The Blue Sound node is a great little media device to be sure but clearly their expertise lies in hardware not software. The interface is terribly clunky and awkward. Almost any MP3 player will have a better user interface. It is very slow to find albums and tracks and so frustrating to pop around. I had a Logotech squeezbox media server about 15 years ago and the interface was at least as good. I will say it is stable and functional.

Well i bought this powernode, setuped it, but i have a lot of problem finding player... I find it, then for some reason he disappears and i can't find it... I try to remove it from ac for 30 seconds, then i can find it. And it repeates like this on and on... Well i don't think it's wifi problem, i think for some reason the software is not perfect... I saw a lot of people talking about this on forums. Please fix that

When it works, it works... however... For the last two weeks I have been experiencing dropouts with the connection between the app and the hardware. I have tried rebooting the Node2i, reinstalling the app - but no joy. I can't even access the help function on the app. Sometimes, randomly, it works fine - mostly not. It definitely seems like an app issue as the buttons on the device still work and the device will play the last track that was being played before the dropout. Some help required.

Solid app. Needs some improvements. Sometimes a device from the list goes missing and comes back later on. And sometimes, the app goes into a loop trying to connect to streaming services. But majority of the time it is fine. The design is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Please keep up the good work and flush out some of the issues remaining.
