Nice energy monitor & app at a pretty decent price point. Just what I was looking for. Purchased to monitor backup Generator load, but using on main line and appliances as well with expansion kit. Functionality is pretty good. New product, from a new startup company, still in development, but customer service is excellent. More features are in development, expected in the next few months per company CS rep. Does what I bought it for and then some, but look forward to coming improvements.

The hardware and app are great. Getting used to where the data I want is located. I would like to be able to create a virtual device by combining multiple sensors. Example being an A/C that has two 240v circuit breakers, so to be accurate 4 sensors combined for the A/C. I would like to be able to see home page stats for any day I choose. App enhancements are slow in coming.

Almost everything is good. My only complaint is the graph time axis mashes the text so you can't read it. I have a Samsung Note 20 on the highest resolution with the smallest font size, so I don't think it's a question of screen real estate. The only graph that doesn't do this is seconds, which is the one they show on the preview of the app on Google Play. I would like to see something like a start and finish time/date on each end of the scale and equal increment hash marks between them.

So far so good, I just miss a few things, like: More timezones, the 8 CT's data in one page (so I can know which CT is providing more energy, at the same time), notifications for a configured & exceeded CT W/kW consumption, web app, in that web app an auto featured cloud backup through api with providers like Google Drive, Dropbox, Mega, etc. Maybe themes, I don't know. So far so good, I really like the app, at the price of everything this is amazing! Keep the good work & support Emporia team.

It took some time to get the device setup in the app. It kept getting stuck on a "firmware update found and will try to update screen". I tried several times but it would always just get stuck. I eventually force closed the app and opened it again and was able to see the device. Unfortunately the data seems to be very inconsistent but I don't see any errors. The app design is a bit clunky and there is no way to check for firmware updates (like the one it tries to do at initial setup). The graph design is also not very good. It is hard to tell days/hours/minutes apart on the X axis. Scrolling to the end of the X axis also loops back around to the beginning? Why is it designed this way? So far I have very little data and no errors or warning. It is just kind of useless. Pros: - Easy to pair to meter (just call or do it online). - Small. - Fairly inexpensive. Cons: - Initial setup process does not work well with no way to skip forced firmware update and do it later. - No way to check for and do firmware updates manually. - Graphs are not very easy to read for specific days/hours. - X axis on graphs scrolling loops back to the beginning. - Very little data with no errors or warnings anywhere, no matter how close to the meter I put the device.

Excellent app and excellent product. I'd love it if you could make it easier to see when energy is being used. The daily view is fine but it gets awkward to see how much energy multiple circuits are using. I have solar so it'd be nice to easily see what's being used during the solar window. And I've cheap electricity at night. I wonder if you could add a chart view and allow me to toggle my circuits on and off?
